What does Coverage mean?

Coverage is a metric available for analysing TV Data. It corresponds to the net cumulative audience in thousands and is defined as the cumulative number of people (absolute or as a percentage) who have had contact with the analysed programme or time slot at least once.

This term is assigned to TV in the Goldbach Advertising Glossary.
