What does Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) mean?
Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) is a technology that inserts digital video ads individually and in real time into a video stream (live or on-demand). The original advert running on linear television is often replaced by a localized or personalized video advert. Through so-called server-side ad insertion (SSAI), content and advertising are brought together seamlessly on the server, which prevents the ad from being blocked by conventional ad blockers.
