Broadcast Video on Demand (BVoD)

Broadcast Video on Demand (BVoD) refers to video-on-demand platforms and media libraries of traditional TV broadcasters that make their own program content available online on a time-shifted basis (catch-up TV), as exclusive previews (previewing), or as archive material. Since these services are predominantly ad-funded, BVoD represents a subset of the AVoD model (Advertising Video on Demand).
