Game on! Swiss Radioworld brings In-Game Digital Audio Advertising to Switzerland

With the new cooperation between Swiss Radioworld and the British start-up Audiomob, advertisers in Switzerland have the opportunity to reach gamers on their mobile phones with Audio Ads for the first time. The In-Game Digital Audio Advertising takes place without interrupting the game.
Zurich, March 13, 2023 – Radio agency Swiss Radioworld has recently started cooperating with Audiomob, the British, internationally active marketer and provider of In-Game Audio Advertising solutions. Advertisers can now also reach people who play games on their smartphones with audio Advertising − a novelty in Switzerland.

In-Game Audio Advertising with various formats and targeting options The In-Game Audio Ad can be booked via Swiss Radioworld in its own specially designed network. It is embedded as a stand-alone spot directly in the game, but does not interrupt the current game. The Advertising message is guaranteed to be heard, as the audio spot is only played at a volume of at least 30%.
A distinction is made between three formats:
- With the User Initiated Ad, the users determine when the spot should be played by tapping the banner.
- With the Skippable Ad, players can decide during a 5-second countdown whether they want to hear the audio spot.
- The Rewarded Ad rewards users with in-game rewards such as additional lives, skills or tips for the next level.
The In-Game Audio Ads also offer a variety of targeting options based on socio-demographic characteristics, interests or game typology. The new Advertising solution thus results in additional touchpoints for comprehensive audio and cross-media campaigns.
First In-Game Audio campaigns have already been launched Swiss Radioworld has already implemented the first In-Game Audio campaigns.
