More comedy on Austrian free TV from October 1

Comedy Central Austria broadcasts daily from 20:15 after Nick Austria

Comedy Central's 24-hour channel will get reinforcements in Austria from October 1, 2021: Comedy Central Austria will then additionally be shown daily from 8:15 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. following the Nick Austria program, replacing the previous Nicknight program window. In future, Nick Austria will continue to broadcast children's programming between 6:00 and 20:15 and Nickelodeon classics for night owls from 1:00 to 6:00. Comedy Central's 24-hour program will remain in its usual slot in Austria.

Josef Almer, managing director of marketer Goldbach Austria is pleased about the expansion of the comedy inventory for advertisers: "With the additional broadcast of Comedy Central in prime time and late prime in the Nick Austria slot, we can provide additional environments and thus more reach for Comedy Central advertisers and certainly also address new target groups."

As the only station with 100% comedy on free TV, Comedy Central's programming combines quality, variety, fun and humor. Whether successful U.S. sitcoms and series, adult cartoons, sketch shows, stand-up, exclusive highlights like South Park and Key & Peele, or successful local in-house productions like Roast Battle and Was Ich Eigentlich Sagen Wollte - Comedy Central presents the complete spectrum of the genre.
