Nickelodeon celebrates 25 years of SpongeBob SquarePants

Since its official premiere in the USA on Nickelodeon on July 17, 1999, SpongeBob SquarePants has put a smile on the faces of young and old alike - be it with his untouchable optimism, his infectious cheerfulness or his fast-paced actions.

From July 15, Nickelodeon's spectacular special program will start in Germany, in which every single one of the more than 300 episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants will be shown over a period of 25 days between July 15 and August 8. The episodes are always shown in the mornings between 08:20 and 11:15 (seasons 1-8) and in the afternoons from 15:30 to 18:00 (seasons 9-14).

The latest episodes from the 14th season, which were produced especially to celebrate the birthday, celebrate their free TV premiere on Nickelodeon every Thursday at 17:35. With numerous surprises and allusions to fans' favorite moments, viewers will meet former jellyfish fishing champion Kevin the Sea Cucumber again, travel through different eras of Bikini Bottom, or travel 2000 years into the future with Plankton. Nickelodeon will also be showing the new episodes of the second season of Kamp Koral as a free TV premiere daily at 6 p.m. from July 15. In Austria and Switzerland, Nickelodeon Austria will be showing a birthday marathon on July 14 from 12:00 noon with the funniest party episodes.
