Timeline

A time slot is a defined number of hours, each consisting of three hours. Taking the Mall Channel as an example, the first time slot begins at 6 a.m. and ends at 9 a.m.. The second time slot therefore starts at 9 a.m. and ends at noon. Thus, there are channels such as the Mall Channel, which - due to the opening hours - ends its last time slot at 9 pm. In the classic booking option, we use this to select target groups that are in certain locations at certain times. To do this, we use the data available from the IDOOH (Institute for Digital Out of Home Media GmbH) - the IDOOH Public&Private Screens Study 2023.

Loop

A loop is a defined sequence of spots that make up a playlist. This playlist is repeated after a certain defined number of spots. In this way, you get an endless loop that is made up of advertising, content and news. Depending on the number of spots booked, the length of the loop varies and can also differ from time slot to time slot.

Our inventory can be scheduled on a deal and auction basis, giving you innovative booking options. This gives you maximum flexibility to buy contacts - no matter at what time and on which channel. Deal

The decision which type of deal to choose depends primarily on the purchasing premise. If the targeting is to take place on the SSP side, the private deal is recommended. The guaranteed inventory can be purchased at a fixed price. The buyer also agrees to purchase the campaign budget as part of the deal.

The Preferred Deal is different. Here, there is a one-to-one relationship between the buyer and seller, and purchases are made at a previously agreed CPM. The buyer can optimize independently on data on the DSP side and is not obliged to accept every bid request. A minimum booking volume in the campaign period is agreed.

Auction

There are two variants for purchasing by auction. The private auction limits the number of bidders in DOOH. Only invited customers / agencies / DSPs are admitted. Here, too, the highest bidder is awarded the contract.

In open auctions, anyone can bid for inventory. The circle of potential buyers is not restricted and the highest price bid wins the advertising space.

Weather Targeting

The weather is considered an influential parameter for the control of campaigns - whether online or DOOH. The constantly changing influences can have an impact on the perception of a campaign. The targeting options can be set according to fixed , e.g. degree number, or soft parameters (sunny, cloudy, rainy, etc.). This is set in the DSP.

Footfall

In a Footfall DOOH campaign, mobile users who belong to the measurement pool are marked when they are in the immediate vicinity of a DOOH screen. In this way, it can later be recognized whether a visitor to a POS or POI has previously had contact with an outdoor advertisement. In addition, a score can be calculated per location, which allows conclusions to be drawn about how efficient a screen or a DOOH location has been for its advertising.

Transaction data

By means of a mobile campaign carried out in advance, the movement data for potential target groups is recorded. This data forms the basis for the DOOH campaign. This efficiently delivers the advertising material to the desired target group and creates clear transparency. Targeting is added on the DSP side and can be adapted.

Screen targeting

For the control of campaigns, screen targeting can be the desired option for reaching the target group precisely. This makes it possible to control the playout even more precisely - according to the conditions of the location. In a mall, for example, the motif at the entrance and exit may look different from the motif near the POS. In this way, the target group is addressed and involved individually.
