Goldbach Austria hosted a summer party in a colorful neon atmosphere

On August 29, the Goldbach Austria Summer Party, an annual fixture in the calendar of the famously party-loving marketing and media scene, took place at PIZZA SENZA DANZA in Vienna's Volksgarten. Under the motto "Neon Fusion", the who's who of the industry celebrated a brightly colored evening at the invitation of Goldbach Austria until the early hours of the morning and enjoyed industry networking in a pleasant atmosphere.

Almost 700 guests, including marketing decision-makers, agency representatives, portfolio partners, technology partners and opinion leaders, accepted the media marketer's invitation. Among the guests spotted were Claudia Sporer-Goshtai (A1 Telekom), Simone Kraft (bank99), Silvia Kosbow (Deichmann), Thorsten Beyer (Dentsu), Andreas Vretscha (GroupM), Clemens Oistric (Heute), Alexander Binder (Hutchison Drei), Andreas Stolar (Infracom Interactive), Thomas Bokesz (IPG Mediabrands), Philipp Breitenecker (LG Electronics), Joachim Krügel (Media 1), Jochen Kaiblinger (ÖBB Werbung), Angela Schuh-Haunold (ÖWA), Jens Brecht (Omnicom), Reinhard Scheitl (Österr. Post), Harald Mayer (Ottakringer), Walter H. Lukner (Payback), Aaisha Abdelhady, Tim Hülsenbeck, Melanie Baron and Enrico Hahne (Paramount), Christoph Glöckel (NÖM), Roana Ebert (Pluto TV), Anja Hettesheimer (PHD), Alexia Gasser (Polestar), Andreas Martin (Porsche Media), Joachim Feher (RMS), Sabine Zussner (Kurier TV), Nicole Artner (UM PanMedia), Wolfgang Layr (Volksbank), Klemens Karwinski (Walt Disney Studios), Sabine Binder-Wessely (Wavemaker), Thomas Gruber (ProSiebenSat1.PULS4), Jens Pöppelmann (d-force), Petra Müller (Samsung), Franz Solta (Gewista), Christian Gstöttner (Obscura), Hannes Dejaco (Magmas Group), Günther Zögernitz (88.6), Hubert Freiler (Faber), Barbara Sailer (TF Bank), Dieter Borer and Marc Eichin (Europapark), Helmut Kammerzelt (FH St. Pölten), Barbara Klinser-Kammerzelt (Magenta), Christian Aberer (Raiffeisen), Sabine Auer-Germann (Adverserve), Roman Breithofer (Media 1), Kurt Schügerl (Digilight) and cabaret artist Andreas Ferner.

The TX Group and Goldbach Group were joined by Bernhard Brechbühl, Michi Frank, Christoph Marty, Mark Luck and Alexander Duphorn from Zurich.

As every year, the Goldbach team came up with a number of ideas to ensure the best entertainment. Nickelodeon Austria star SpongeBob SquarePants, who is celebrating his 25th anniversary this year, was particularly present and became the selfie highlight of the evening. In the Paramount photo box, guests were able to take miniature souvenir photos with SpongeBob and the Comedy Central characters from South Park. Being a cover model was another wish that came true. On this evening, you could immortalize yourself on the Today cover. In addition, a digital artist, supported by Virtual Minds, created creative portraits that could be taken away as a personal souvenir. Indoors, gambling enthusiasts had the opportunity to try their luck at the Discovery Roulette table, the ÖBB Werbung table football match or the Goldbach Jump&Run game.

There was also plenty to celebrate in terms of content. For example, the Youngstar Award trophy for the most youthful and vital brand of the year was presented during the course of the evening - already a tradition. This prize is awarded to the brand that was found to be the most youthful and vital brand in the young target group on the basis of a regular Gallup study. Petra Müller from Samsung and Joseph Aberl from the supervising media agency Publicis Media accepted the award. This was the third time in the 13-year history of Youngstar that Samsung had won the coveted award.

The successes of the current year were also honored at the summer party. For Goldbach Austria, these include the more precisely measured Teletest 2.0 reach, which resulted in higher average reach and significantly higher advertising block reach on almost all marketed TV channels. In Advanced TV, the marketer is scoring points with innovative advertising solutions and the expansion of targeting options. Online, the company is also focusing on moving image integration in the display environment in the form of special videohead formats, while the new commercial publishing offering from premium partner Heute.at is proving to be a sales hit.

There was particularly much to celebrate on the largest screens marketed by Goldbach - those of the Digital out of Home division. The two-year anniversary of the DOOH own locations is a milestone - exactly two years ago, Goldbach Austria started to build up its own screens and locations. The network now comprises 112 screens at 91 locations. As a "birthday present", the 140 m² "Goldbach Iconic Screen", the third largest LED advertising space in Austria, was ceremoniously put into operation. The new DOOH location on the roof of the Galaxy Fitness Club in Brunn am Gebirge was officially launched as part of the summer festival. The guests were given an insight into the making-of of the now live and extremely eye-catching advertising space as well as pictures of BMW's first mover campaign on the "Iconic Screen". In this context, thanks also went to technology partner FirstSpot.

Professional dancer and presenter Conni Kreuter and Goldbach Austria Managing Directors Josef Almer and Alexander Leitner hosted the evening, which was very varied overall. Also on stage were Sascha Frommhund and Marcel Oppliger, Managing Directors of the digital agency dreifive, as well as the outgoing CEO of the Goldbach Group Michi Frank and his successor, the newly appointed CEO Christoph Marty.
