How digital outdoor advertising is conquering public space
The first ones are being installed these days: fast-charging stations for e-cars with digital advertising screens, screen size 75 inches. The idea: people who drive electric cars are mobile, earn good money and have time while the batteries charge - people waiting are an ideal target group for outdoor advertising. "The idea is to quickly make it a national network," says Claudia Zayer, managing director of Goldbach DOOH. The Munich-based marketer has teamed up with Allgäu-based start-up Numbat, which is developing the pillars. Around 200 parking spaces are to be equipped in 2023 alone.
