International Women's Day 2024: Statement by Imke Deuerlein in W&V

A recent study by Russel Reynolds Associates shows: There are more and more female CEOs worldwide, but this is not the case in Germany, especially in DAX companies. So there is still a lot to do, especially in this country. To mark International Women's Day on March 8, we asked 16 women in management positions about their views on gender equality and the role of women in the adtech and marketing industries.

Here is the answer from Imke Deuerlein, Director Marketing, Communication & Strategy Operations at Goldbach:

"On International Women's Day, but also on all the other 364 days of the year, we have to realize that equality is not a "nice-to-have", but an essential part of corporate success. As we know, we are living in a time of transformation and profound change to familiar structures. Living diversity in the company contributes to the company's success, as different experiences and perspectives come together and creativity, modernity and openness to change can only arise through diverse team composition. Nowadays, women in management roles act as important role models for younger generations, giving them confidence for their own future. It is therefore all the more important that women stand up for their position on the one hand and that the industry makes today the standard on the other."
