Goldbach - here for you since 1983

The foundations of today's advertising marketer Goldbach were laid back in 1983 with the founding of IP Multimedia. A company that initially concentrated on operating its own radio and TV stations, such as Hitradio Z (later Energy Zurich).

The late 1980s saw the breakthrough of private television in German-speaking countries. The then Goldbach took advantage of this development and introduced the first Swiss advertising windows on foreign stations such as RTL in 1993.

Due to various mergers, investments and the sale of advertising inventory in the DACH region, Goldbach underwent significant changes over the years. The decision was made to give up former investments in the media and content business, such as Radio Energy or TV projects, and to focus on advertising marketing as its core business.

Another decisive turning point in Goldbach's history was its sale to Tamedia (now the TX Group) in 2018. Through the subsequent acquisitions of Neo Advertising and Clear Channel Switzerland, Goldbach also experienced significant growth in the area of out-of-home advertising.

Over the years, Goldbach has developed into one of the most important marketers in Switzerland and today pursues a multi-channel approach with its subsidiaries, operating in the areas of TV, radio, print, online, mobile, out-of-home advertising and performance marketing.
