Taking a vacation in a video game

The small Singaporean resort island of Sentosa has created a virtual counterpart in the video game "Animal Crossing: New Horizons" in response to the Corona Lockdown. "Sentosa Crossing" is a separate island in the game that players* can visit to virtually experience the attractions from the real Sentosa. These include a visit to the toboggan run, yoga classes on the beach and hiking opportunities. The number of visitors to the virtual vacation island is limited: 36 visitors* are registered daily, and their stay in "Sentosa Crossing" is regulated by time slots.
