The latest trends in robotics

For Gyro Gearloose, it was his faithful little helper; for us, it is usually state-of-the-art machines and devices that are operated with artificial intelligence: So-called robots that support us in everyday tasks or do complicated work for us. Find out more in our November trend news.

Robot butler for the household

The British company Prosper Robotics is developing a robot butler for the household. The robot takes on tasks such as cleaning surfaces and dishes, washing laundry and simple food preparation. It moves on wheels, uses two arms and can therefore perform tasks such as folding clothes or clearing away dishes. A special feature is the remote control by a human being to handle more complex tasks. This should make the robot ready for use more quickly, while at the same time eliminating data protection concerns. The market launch is planned for 2025.
