Children's cell phone without social media

The Finnish technology company HMD Global is working with the "Better Phone Project" to develop a new cell phone for children. This device offers internet access but no social media. It includes features such as location tracking to monitor children's whereabouts in real time, messaging functions with ready-made texts and video calls for direct communication. Time-based usage restrictions, such as a night-time alarm clock, are also planned. The project aims to work with parents to develop a safe, controllable device that promotes healthier usage habits for children.
