A new dimension for Digital Out of Home (DOOH) advertising in Austria
From spring 2025, Vienna will have one more impressive advertising space: the Goldbach Iconic Screen on Riesenradplatz in Vienna's Prater. The Austrian capital thus joins the list of remarkable Digital Out of Home (DOOH) locations that are internationally regarded as examples of modern outdoor advertising.
With an area of over 50 m², the “Iconic Screen Vienna Prater” not only sets visual accents but also offers innovative advertising options such as 3D implementations with forced perspective effects in addition to classic placements. This technology creates impressive depth effects and makes content appear to emerge from the screen - an effect already familiar from global DOOH hotspots.
Unique location with technical innovation
The traditional “Wurstelprater” covers an area of 260,000m² and attracted around 7 million visitors last year, around two thirds of whom came from Austria. Thanks to its central location and attractiveness as a leisure area, the Prater is an ideal location for innovative out-of-home advertising in Vienna.
The new Goldbach Iconic Screen will be installed directly at the main entrance, in the immediate vicinity of Vienna's Giant Ferris Wheel. The screen, which was specially developed for 3D DOOH campaigns, enables flicker-free camera images, making it ideal for high-quality advertising videos. State-of-the-art 3D Forced Perspective effects are used to create impressive visual illusions without 3D glasses. With two adjacent LED surfaces - 10.5 and 7 meters wide and each 3 meters high - the screen has a total size of around 53 m².

Launch in the second quarter of 2025
The new Iconic Screen is scheduled to go live at the beginning of the second quarter of 2025. Just in time for the Easter and summer vacations, the location will not only be an eye-catcher for passers-by, but will also attract international attention as an innovative advertising hotspot.
