Bronze - iab webAD Award in the category Best Digital Extension goes to Goldbach and Bitpanda
The jury, consisting of Paul Ballot (DMB.), Parisa Hamidi-Grübl (Der Standard), Myron Kohut (Österreichische Post), Martin Radimsky (Virtual Identity) and Jochen Schneeberger (Willhaben) awarded the campaign with the 3rd prize and presented the trophy to the team around Goldbach Austria Sales Director Wolfgang Pernkopf on October 13 in Vienna's Marx Halle during the festive awards show.
The award-winning campaign used Samsung Ads' Incremental Reach solution, which enables digital TV viewers to be targeted via the streaming app, TV Plus: Based on existing ACR technology and data from Samsung Ads, it is possible to scan spots on linear TV and identify which target groups have come into contact with them and which have not. Exactly those who have not seen the spot via linear TV can be reached using Incremental Reach Targeting & Analytics via the TV Plus app on all Samsung smart TV devices. This solution creates incremental reach on TV for campaigns.
"Using Samsung Ads' proprietary ACR analytics, we gave Bitpanda the ability to capture additional net reach directly on the TV set achieved by your AVOD App - TV Plus campaign. The goal of the campaign was to generate additional real reach directly on a Samsung SmartTV device, precisely on those TV sets where the linear spot was not shown," says Wolfgang Pernkopf, responsible for the campaign on Goldbach's side, explaining the technology and strategy behind it.
