Goldbach Austria launches 140 m² Iconic Screen for the 2nd anniversary of its own screen network

Third largest advertising space in the country goes live with BMW campaign at launch.

The screen marketer Goldbach Austria offers the widest-reach digital out-of-home network in this country with over 9,000 screens at more than 1,300 locations and a net reach of 64.6% in 2 weeks. Exactly two years ago, a network with its own digital out-of-home advertising space was also launched, which has grown to 112 screens at 91 locations to date - all displays can be controlled programmatically. The 140 m2 "Iconic Screen" in Brunn am Gebirge also went live on the second anniversary of the "Goldbach Screens". The gigantic advertising space, which ranks among the top 3 largest LED screens in Austria, was launched at the end of August as part of the annual summer festival together with partner FirstSpot.

Goldbach Iconic Vienna South - a new dimension in outdoor advertising

The location of Goldbach's own Iconic screen on the roof of a fitness center in Brunn am Gebirge and directly on a busy main road offers excellent visibility for commuters and motorists. The advertising space can be used individually or combined on two screens positioned around the corner, which offers creative space for 3D visualizations, among other things. The first campaign on the new screen was a "first mover" campaign by BMW, which impressively demonstrated the impact of this surface.

Double screen weighing 2.5 elephants becomes a prestigious advertising space

"It wasn't just the weight that made the project an elephant project," jokes Philipp Hengl, Head of Product & Partner Management DOOH at Goldbach Austria. The construction of the Iconic Screen, which at 15 tons weighs more than two elephants, required over 20,000 screws, 1.5 kilometers of cable and months of logistically demanding production. In total, the 216 panels required for the screen covered around 12,000 kilometers by rail. Cumbersome approvals made the project even more difficult, but the result speaks for itself.

The "Goldbach Iconic Vienna South" is not only one of the largest, but also one of the most prestigious outdoor advertising spaces in the country. "The location directly in the field of vision of the heavily frequented streets in the commercial area near Brunn am Gebirge is ideal for guaranteeing maximum attention. The advertising space is particularly interesting for local businesses and stores, but also for all brands that want to strengthen their general DOOH campaigns with a particularly creative and eye-catching appearance on the Iconic Screen," explains Marcus Zinn, Sales Director DOOH and responsible for advertising marketing.
