Goldbach Austria presents Iconic Screen in the Vienna Prater
On Monday afternoon, media marketer Goldbach Austria, which has been part of the Azerion Group since the beginning of 2025, invited industry representatives to the presentation of its new Iconic Screen at Riesenradplatz in Vienna's Prater. The official launch of this innovative digital out-of-home (DOOH) space takes outdoor advertising in Austria to a new level.

The Iconic Screen plays all the technical tricks and opens up completely new possibilities for outdoor advertising. As part of the Azerion Group, it is particularly important for us to drive innovation and use digital technologies to offer our customers and partners the best possible advertising opportunities," emphasized Josef Almer, Managing Director of Goldbach Austria, in front of the invited customers and partners.
Spectacular 3D spot to kick things off
In keeping with the festive premiere, Drei Österreich was the first mover to show an impressive 3D spot, demonstrating the innovative possibilities of the Iconic Screen live. The "Forced Perspective" technology creates fascinating 3D effects that amaze viewers - without the need for special glasses.
A new milestone for DOOH in Austria
With this unique advertising space, Goldbach Austria is expanding its digital out-of-home portfolio with a spectacular presentation option for brands and messages. In addition to classic 2D campaigns, it offers completely new creative scope for impressive 3D productions.
Top location, great interest and initial bookings
Alex Ruthner from Prater Wien GmbH is enthusiastic about the new "attraction": "The traditional Wurstelprater covers an area of 260,000m² and attracted around 7 million visitors last year, around two thirds of whom came from Austria. Thanks to its central location and attractiveness as a leisure area, the Prater is an ideal location for innovative out-of-home advertising in Vienna. The area in front of the new Iconic Screen in particular guarantees maximum visibility for the streams of visitors."
Marcus Zinn, Sales Director DOOH at Goldbach Austria, is also enthusiastic: "The Iconic Screen is in an absolute premium location: right at the main entrance to Vienna's Prater, in the immediate vicinity of the world-famous Giant Ferris Wheel, it reaches thousands of visitors every day. Technical details and implementation
The Goldbach Iconic Screen in the Prater consists of two adjacent LED surfaces - 10.5 and 7 meters wide and 3 meters high - and thus offers a total area of around 53 m².
The project was designed and implemented by the Goldbach Austria team led by Head of Product & Partner Management DOOH Philipp Hengl, while partner company First Spot, which was responsible for the quality and sophisticated installation of the high-quality LED projects, ensured that the installation went smoothly.
As a technology partner, Grassfish is taking the DOOH CMS to a new level together with Goldbach Austria and is also developing customized special solutions for unusual projects.
