Goldbach becomes exclusive marketer of Doodle in the DACH region
From January 2022, Doodle will be marketed DACH-wide by Goldbach. The globally active online appointment planner, which previously marketed itself, has been part of the TX Group since 2014.
As part of the integration of Goldbach into the TX Group and the consistent focus on the part of Doodle on the appointment scheduling subscription business, Doodle AG is handing over the marketing business for the DACH region exclusively to Goldbach. In Switzerland, this will be Goldbach Publishing. The agreement with Goldbach Audience will remain in place. For Goldbach customers, this opens up access to an advertising platform aimed at a business-relevant target group. The advertising products that Doodle has marketed itself to date will remain unchanged.
Doodle is a globally active online appointment planner and uses intelligent software to simplify the organization of appointments in companies, for the self-employed and for private individuals. The focus is on product innovations and a consistent orientation towards the business customer segment. With over 25 million monthly active users, Doodle is the world's most widely used technology platform for online appointment finding. In addition to Switzerland, Germany, France and the USA are among the most important business regions. Doodle AG has been part of the TX Group since 2014 and is headquartered in Zurich with offices in Berlin, Belgrade, New York and Atlanta and has 120 employees.
As part of the transfer of the marketing mandate, two employees in Switzerland will move from Doodle to Goldbach Publishing. Tiziano Obrecht will drive marketing in the function of Sales Director Doodle/TXMA together with Luca Maier as Head of Sales Doodle/TXMA.
Thierry Furrer, Managing Director Goldbach Publishing on the new collaboration: "With Doodle Switzerland, we were able to win the world's leading appointment finding platform as a new client. Doodle's high-quality inventory is ideally suited for large-scale branding campaigns with video elements that guarantee high visibility, making it an optimal complement to the digital brands already in our portfolio."
"As part of our consistent focus on product development and subscribers, we made a conscious decision at Doodle to separate the ad business from the core business. I am very pleased to be able to hand over the ad business in the DACH region to a strong marketing partner like Goldbach," says Renato Profico, CEO Doodle.
